Very few chefs embody the spirit of fun, creativity, and persistence quite like Matty Matheson; he's the first to take risks, push boundaries, and his food is anything but ordinary, which is why we’re thrilled to have him part of the team.
His talents go far beyond the kitchen with an acting and executive producing role in FX’s The Bear, he's a two-time New York Times best-selling author (Matty Matheson: A Cookbook and Home Style Cookery), creator of his own workwear clothing brand Rosa Rugosa, owner of multiple restaurants including his latest - Rizzo’s House of Parm – named after his daughter, his own line of cookware, Matheson Cookware and the most recent endeavour, Matheson Food Co. packaged goods.
One of the things we love most about Matty is his authenticity. He approaches cooking with a sense of humour and a willingness to have fun, which is what we’re all about, plus his pizza making is second to none.
When he’s not working, you’ll find Matty making memories with his wife and three kids in his home in Ontario.
